Test all your equipment in advance of the presentation. Don’t have rented equipment scheduled to arrive ten minutes before you speak and allow yourself plenty of time.
Keep your presentation focused on the message. It’s easy to get carried away with special effects. You want your audience to discuss the ideas you set forth not the fancy graphics.
