Why are you doing the presentation – start by defining the objectives to keep focus to the presentation as you write it.

Who are the audience – its necessary to know the type of audience so that you present in a way that will interest them.

What you want to achieve – decide what you want the audience to learn from the presentation and include everything that will help them achieve this.

Where is the presentation – consider the physical conditions that may affect your presentation such as room size or noise.
